Alex Botten is many things, he is a husband, a father, a smartarse, and an artist. He is an author, and a gig poster designer of some not inconsiderable skill. He has performed stand up comedy, has written for music magazines (only making
a small handful of enemies along the way), and has entertained
audiences across the UK in many many bands over the years. He's also
promoted hundreds of shows, but can't be bothered with the work anymore.
In his twenty year musical career he has played in Sandhopper, Optical Meat Cleaver, Kosmische, Maps of Jupiter, Magnetic North Pole, Thee Moths, Lipsick!, Senor Citizen, Explosions and Screaming, DJ Wrong Homer, Wulfstabber, Wings & Claws, and literally some others. He also ran Twenty Bees Records for a while. Bit of a renaissance man all told....
