Nurse

Nurse

December 2004 / PHCR14MP3

This short album is the final chapter of my time in Glasgow, and the first McGazz release to be mp3 only.

Most of "Nurse" was written and recorded in the space a few weeks, when I was stuck at home, with no money and no job, waiting to move to Liverpool. Lyrically, it discusses Capitalism (again), although prefers to talk about communication (or lack thereof). May leave a slight sci-fi soundtrack cheese aftertaste.

The picture of the scary Stepford nurses is from a catalogue of work clothing. I've no idea why they're so ecstatic.

No reviews of this one, because I didn't send anyone a copy. It got some radio play on Glasgow University's Subcity Radio, but that wasn't my doing.

The tracks are all free to download, but if you like what you hear, please think about slipping us a pound or two via PayPal.
